Concern Worldwide's Unheard Voices campaign has achieved another success. A recent debate in Parliament highlighted the importance of supporting poor farmers. The UK government has made a commitment to strengthen its engagement in agriculture and rural development.

Concern Northern Ireland is participating in a special lobbying event later this month. As members of the Climate Change Coalition, Concern will be "carbon dating" with local politicians at Stormont.

As part of Concern’s response to Cyclone Sidr, an effort has been made to document the emergency using local photographers and videographers. One of these photographers, Mahmud, has a particular skill not only in collecting images, but also the stories that accompany them.
