Concern CEO addresses global leaders in Washington

Concern CEO, Tom Arnold, today addressed more than 350 high-level government officials, leaders of civil society organisations, and activists from around the world when they convened in Washington, DC, to build political momentum for nutrition efforts that will help save the lives of at least one million children annually.

Concern chief executive elected to international research board

The Chief Executive of Concern Worldwide, Tom Arnold, has been elected to a high level international board aimed at increasing the impact of agricultural research in developing countries. Mr Arnold is one of two members from Europe on a select nine-member board appointed by the Consultative Group for International Agricultural Research (CGIAR).

His appointment follows an international selection which attracted over 500 nominations.

Tom Arnold received a Degree of Doctor of Laws yesterday from the National University of Ireland, the umbrella organisation for many of the country's great universities.
