Writing competition

In 2009, we encouraged people to write a letter to US President Barack Obama about some very important issues, like hunger, climate change and child labour. The winning letters from this, our second writing competition, were collected together and published in a new book.

The prizes for last year’s writing competition included laptops, ipods and subscriptions to National Geographic Magazine.
