Dear
Friend,
Up to 20 million people have been made homeless
by devastating floods that have hit Nepal, India and Bangladesh in the last
few days. Villages have been cut off and many people are without food and shelter.
It is predicted that the flooding could get worse in the coming days.
Also, you can read actor Nathaniel Parker's diaries from his visit to Chad,
and how children are teaching their parents about health in Liberia.
Thank you
for your support.

Nathaniel Parker's Chad Diary |
Actor Nathaniel Parker,
along with documentary maker Paul Welsh,
recently visited Chad with Concern to see the conditions there for himself. Whilst there
he visited a camp for displaced people in Goz Beida, where he met Hajida,
a mother of seven who works all day gathering firewood to sell. Nathaniel's
diary, opinions and experiences provide a valuable glimpse into what
life is like for many thousands of displaced people in Chad.

who, thanks to Concern Tanzania's food security programme, has doubled the crop yield
from his half-acre plot. The programme has introduced new methods of growing
corn, sorghum and sesame, including planting in rows, using better seeds
and more fertiliser.
