Concern Summer Raffle: terms and conditions

Concern Worldwide was issued a Lottery Licence by the Dublin District Court on 22 April 2009. To be eligible to enter the raffle, entrants must:

• Be over 18 years of age by the 1st of January 2009
• Not be a member of Concern Worldwide staff
• Have purchased at least one ticket at €3 each

The prize consists of the following prizes:

• 1st Prize: €4,500
• 2nd Prize: €2,500
• 3rd Prize: A weekend for two at Carton House Hotel, Kildare, including bed and breakfast and dinner on one evening

An additional seller’s draw will take place to reward sellers of two books of tickets or more with a chance to win €500.
Closing date for returning tickets and entering the draw is 10 September 2009. Any tickets received after this date will be disqualified.

The winner will be drawn by an independent person at the National Ploughing Championship in Athy, Co. Kildare on 24 September 2009. The promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The winner will be notified within 15 working days of the closing date either by mail or telephone. The winner's name will be announced on the Concern website. Full address details will not be disclosed.

The winner will be contacted by telephone or email. In the event that we cannot contact the winner within 28 days after the draw, the prize will be awarded to a new winner.

If the writing is illegible on the ticket and no contact details are given, a new winner will be selected on the day of the draw.
The prizes are non-transferable and only consist of what is listed above.

By entering the draw, winners confirm their agreement to take part in any associated publicity.
