Concern uses this money to help some of the poorest people in the world make lasting changes to their lives.

A long-standing tradition

Collections are a tradition for Concern; some have been taking place for over 20 years. Individuals, groups and schools all over the UK and Ireland collect for us throughout the year.

Getting started

Before you begin collecting in any public place, we have to get a permit from the police. To collect money outside religious establishments, permission must also be obtained first. Don’t worry though – we look after getting these permits for you. All you have to do is make sure to contact us a few months in advance.
