Schools

There are lots of ways to get involved with Concern through your school.

Bake a Difference charity schools event
If your school would like to do something really simple and effective to support Concern's charity work, you could join the Bake a Difference campaign. Money raised will directly go to our food programmes worldwide – helping to change lives forever.

Concern Fast

Your school could take part in the Concern Fast. This is Concern’s biggest one-off fundraising event and has been running every year since 1970! The Fast takes place every year and this year it is taking place on 10 November. To find out more or to receive your Fast pack email Claire Fitzsimons.

Writing competition

You could also take part in our annual writing competition. Find out more and get involved.

Global issues workshop

In Northern Ireland, Concern works with an organisation called Beyond Skin. Together, we’re running workshops in schools bringing issues to do with global poverty into the classroom.

The project is called Global Dimensions. It aims to teach students about the Millennium Development Goals, and to encourage them to engage with global issues.

To find out how you can bring this workshop to your school, contact Claire at claire.fitzsimons@concern.net
