Harvest festival

There are many ways to fundraise as part of the harvest festival. Instead of collecting food, why not ask for donations to FoodAid? Or, you could make a big pot of soup and hold a FoodAid supper or lunch. You could also round up the musical talent in your class and organise a FoodAid concert.

Coin art

The first step involves drawing a simple design on the ground with chalk. The design could be a map of Africa, Malawi or the FoodAid logo. Then ask pupils, teachers and parents to place coins on the design’s outline to help build up the picture.

This unique fundraising idea is great fun and is becoming increasingly popular with schools supporting FoodAid.
