Theme: what is hunger and malnutrition? The objective of this lesson is to raise awareness of the importance of a balanced diet for good health. Also, to raise awareness of hunger and malnutrition around the world.

Theme: why are people hungry? The objective of this lesson is to look at why there are many hungry people in a world that produces enough food for everyone. Also, what can be done to alleviate hunger and malnutrition? What role does Fairtrade play in that?

Theme: what can we do to help? The objectives of this lesson are to encourage pupils to engage in fundraising for the FoodAid appeal, and to build a project team to organise their own fundraising event.
