The ambassador’s visit

William Hanna, the new EU ambassador for Bangladesh, recently visited Concern Worldwide’s team there. He was impressed by the work we are doing in the country.
Climate change and emergencies
During his visit, William took a great deal of interest in how Concern helped people recover from the effects of Cyclone Aila, which struck in 2009.
He was also impressed by how we’ve been dealing with the threat of climate change in Bangladesh and elsewhere.
Vote of confidence
This is a vote of confidence in our programmes in Bangladesh, and is testament to the good work our team is doing in the country. Well done all!
