Bracelets for charity

Concern Worldwide has benefited from a fashionable fundraising initiative developed by Belfast-based jeweller Argento.

Argento have raised a total of £2,160 for our work
This involves the sale of a limited edition bracelet in aid of Concern. The award-winning jewellery retailer has donated the full price of the bracelet, raising a total of £2,160 for our work.

Continuing vital work

Deirdre Murphy, Corporate Fundraiser for Concern, said: “Concern is really happy to be associated with Argento, as a responsible and growing local business. Money raised from the sale of this beautiful bracelet will help us continue our vital work with some of the most vulnerable communities in the world.

Tough times

“More and more people are being pushed into poverty because of the state of the global economy. Argento’s support, especially in these tough times, means that we can help people build a brighter future for themselves and their families.”

Partnership

Argento has had a partnership with Concern since 2005 and has sold a number of jewellery pieces in aid of the charity.

Argento’s Chief Executive Pete Boyle said: “We established a partnership with Concern several years ago to help them support people in some of the poorest countries in the world. We are very proud to give what support we can.

“Selling jewellery is what we do as a business, so what better way to help than to sell a special piece with the full proceeds going to Concern. Customers buying the bracelet knew they were making a difference to people in need.”
