
Former president visits east Africa

Mary Robinson, former president of Ireland and UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, travelled to east Africa with Concern CEO Tom Arnold. There, she saw the devastating effects of the drought firsthand.
We are there
Concern Worldwide is responding to this crisis. We are now helping over half a million people affected by the drought in Kenya, Ethiopia, and famine-hit Somalia. We plan to increase the number of people we are helping over the coming months.
