These pictures were taken a couple of weeks before fighting in the Democratic Republic of Congo forced Concern to evacuate its staff to the city of Goma.
Concern’s work included rebuilding roads and bridges and distributing essential supplies. Our projects are helping to rebuild the badly damaged infrastructure in the area.
At this point, Concern still does not have access to its projects in North Kivu.
