Tomorrow’s children

Will tomorrow’s children inherit a better world? This is the topic that the quarter finalists of the Concern Debates will be tackling in their next debate.

There are just eight schools remaining from the 130 schools that entered. See which schools are still in the competition (pdf).

The finals of the Concern Debates are happening on 13 May at UCD at 7pm. All schools who have taken part are invited to attend, so mark the date it in your diary now!

Photos wanted

Do you have photos from any of this year’s debates? We’re looking for good images that reflect any aspect of the Concern Debates, from the researchers, adjudicators, speakers and the all important supporters.

If you have a photo we could use, please send it to us at debatesconcern.net. Make sure to label it with all the relevant details. The best shots will receive a Dear President Obama book.

The quarter and semi-finals are over! The final is tomorrow, with Athlone Community College and Coláiste Chilliain, Clondalkin, battling it out. The motion: "As the dust settles, Haiti can look forward to a brighter and better future."
