Eliminating harmful traditional practices in Ethiopia

In 2006, Concern Ethiopia began using a behaviour change approach called community conversations as part of our HIV prevention programmes in a rural area.

The CC approach is a method of dialogue that has everyone in the community engaged in examining their and the community norms, values and principles and what effect those have on relationships individuals, families, friends and in particular what effect they have on the HIV epidemic.
