This report was undertaken by Concern Worldwide in 2009.
It deals with the evaluations of programmes that involve interaction with markets.
This document reviews five final evaluations of programmes that ran between 2001 and 2008 in five countries: Haiti; DR Congo; Cambodia; Sri Lanka and Laos.
The purpose of the report is to identify lessons from previous evaluations that could have broader application. It also provides recommendations for future programmes.
