
Evaluation of Concern response in North Kivu, Democratic Republic of Congo

In late 2008, escalated fighting caused widespread displacement in North Kivu province, Democratic Republic of Congo.
Concern responded providing emergency assistance, using funding from the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) and Irish Aid.
Repsonse
Concern’s nine-month emergency project sought to help displaced and host families in Masisi territory by increasing access to food, water and other essential non-food items.
This report is the product of an independent evaluation conducted in August 2009.
