Health policy

Health, as defined by the World Health Organisation (WHO), is a "state of complete physical, mental and social well-being, not merely the absence of disease or infirmity".

"The enjoyment of the highest attainable standard of health is one of the fundamental rights of every human being without distinction of race, religion, political, economic or social condition." (WHOs Constitution). Concern recognises the importance of good nutrition and a safe environment in the promotion of good health.
