Fairtrade

Concern has worked closely with Fairtrade Ireland since its inception in 1992.

Fairtrade Ireland awards a consumer label, the Fairtrade Mark, to products that meet its internationally recognised standards. You can buy Fairtrade certified products in most supermarkets.

A better deal

According to the Fairtade Foundation, “Fairtrade is a tool for development that ensures disadvantaged farmers and workers in developing countries get a better deal through the use of the international Fairtrade Mark.”
