Concern Challenge Showcase
This event is a showcase of some of the upcoming adventures being organised by Concern Challenges.
It's taking place in the Westbury Hotel in Dublin 2 on 22 August.
“Nothing is impossible”
Our guest will be Grania Willis. Grania, who only started climbing in 2004, became the first Irish woman to summit Everest from the north side.
Also a former international horse rider, she has been the equestrian correspondent in the Irish Times since 1980. Grania’s motto is “nothing is impossible.”
What to expect
Here’s how the night will unfold:
- 6:15pm: Grania will bring you through a mesmerising tour of realising personal goals
- 7:00pm: Action Challenge, the UK’s leading adventure agency, explains what you can expect from the Concern challenges
- 7:30pm: Explore the different adventures you can have fundraising for Concern
Afterwards, at 9:00pm, you can join our latest trekkers in the South William Bar, South William Street, Dublin 2. They’ll be celebrating their successful return from their volcanic adventure in Tanzania.
