This White Paper is extremely important and will shape future government policy on international development and agricultural policy.

Getting involved in the debate

As part of this, a series of regional events are taking place, allowing members of the public a chance to get involved in the debate and provide DFID with input.

Concern's Connell Foley will be presenting one of these events in Belfast. It will take place between 18:00 and 21:00 on 18 May at King's Hall.

Different perspectives

A minister and a representative from an NGO will speak at each event. The idea behind this is that attendees will get to hear a variety of perspectives. The speeches are followed by a question and answer session and discussions.
