Meet TDs and help stop climate chaos

On 2 June, you'll get the chance to tell your TD that you expect them to support a strong Irish climate law.

This year, the Irish government will make crucial decisions about how it will tackle climate change. They have committed to passing a climate change law by the end of 2010, including binding targets for reducing our carbon emissions.

Clear message

As the government negotiates the text of this law, we must send them a clear message that we expect it to be strong, with enforceable targets. It must ensure Ireland plays its part in delivering a fair and safe future for all.

So, Stop Climate Chaos is organising an event where you can speak with your TD about this law.

How it will work

Go to www.stopclimatechaos.ie/takeaction to arrange a meeting with your TD on 2 June in a group setting. We’ll be in touch with you by phone and make sure you have all the information and support you need.

Information and training sessions will run the week before the event, or arrive early on the day and get advice from Stop Climate Chaos on what to say to your TD.
