Supporting vital work

Proceeds from the event will go towards Concern’s education programme in Mozambique. Life expectancy in Mozambique averages 42.8 years and the adult literacy rate is estimated at 38.7%.

From grassroots to government

Concern believes that lasting change can be achieved by working directly with local communities and government at the national level. This approach empowers the poorest people to access their right to education. At the same time, it helps government institutions deliver quality education to the poorest people in the country.

Almost 60,000 people in three provinces in Mozambique have benefited from our education work to date. Your contribution to the 2009 Wexford Golf event will help to support this vital work.
