Women of Concern exhibition

To promote our Women of Concern group, Concern hosted a  photography exhibition in Carlow on 4 February 2011.

The exhibition took place in Visual Carlow, Centre for Contemporary Arts, Old Dublin Road, Carlow and ran for the month of February.

Exhibition

The exhibition hosts work from three of Ireland’s top photographers  – Kim Haughton, Marie McCallan (Press 22) and Brenda Fitzsimons (The Irish Times). The images presented are from countries where Concern supports women’s development projects.

Improving lives

The images tell powerful stories of hope, determination and survival from Bangladesh, Ethiopia and post-earthquake Haiti. They also show that, thanks to your support, Concern can work with women to help improve their lives and those of their families.
