Talks and workshops 

Our school speaker will visit your school and explore some of the complex issues relating to Concern’s work in a simple and understandable way. 

Students will gain an appreciation of how an organisation like Concern works and how they themselves can become involved in fighting poverty. Students will also get to see some of the materials that we distribute in an emergency. They’ll learn how our staff check for malnutrition in the countries where we work. 

Bake a Difference

Our speaker will also talk about Bake a Difference, a great fundraising event that brings together classmates, teachers, parents and friends over a slice (or two) of cake. Many schools are taking part by holding a cake sale and donating the proceeds to Concern. 

The money you raise will help us tackle hunger in some of the poorest communities around the world. You can register for free today by emailing bakeadifference@concern.net.
