On 15 December, Concern CEO Tom Arnold will be speaking at an event with some of Ireland's most engaging thinkers and 50 of the country's top undergraduates.

Also speaking will be Senator Chris Dodd, Chairman of the US Senate Banking Committee.

Challenges and opportunities

The event is part of an ongoing series for the Irish Undergraduate Awards; the theme for the day is "Where next for Ireland?”

The day will be based around three panel discussions on Irish society, the economy and education. Other speakers include Minister Eamon Ryan, Mary Finan, Fintan O'Toole, Kingsley Aikins, Padraig O'Ceidigh, Tim O'Connor, Marc Coleman, Brody Sweeney and Paul Sweeney. They will be laying out their vision of Ireland for a generation of young and talented minds, who will no doubt have their own ideas.
