Positive Lives is a unique project that photographs and documents the impact of the global HIV & AIDS pandemic. Since its beginnings in the UK in 1993, the exhibition has portrayed the tremendous courage of people living with HIV & AIDS, and those who care for them, from different communities around the world. 2006 sees a new collaboration between Concern Worldwide and Positive Lives. In January Concern brought the Positive Lives exhibition to Northern Ireland for the first time, in partnership with the University of Ulster. Concern has also sponsored a new book, Positive Lives: International responses to HIV & AIDS, which contains over 120 images from the exhibition, including new work commissioned by Concern from Rwanda. |
