Community management of natural resources
22 February 2010
The livelihoods meta-evaluation of Community Managed Natural Resources covers eleven programmes in seven countries which were implemented over the period 2000 to 2008. Written by Isabelle Kidney of Concern Worldwide.
Many of these programmes included community forestry and natural resource interventions, such as conservation measures and plant nurseries.
The other programmes dealt with in this evaluation were aimed at getting poor people involved in setting their priorities with local government, as well as access to food.
