Education in Manica, Mozambique

The Concern Manica Education Project ran from 2004 – 2008. It aimed to improve access, quality and equality of primary education for 31,200 children, especially girls and vulnerable children. This evaluation was carried out in July 2009 and written by Rebecca Heuberger.

The principal purpose of the evaluation was to guage the project’s effectiveness. It also looked at impact, relevance, efficiency and sustainability and the extent to which gender and HIV were included in the design and implemented.
