Photo slideshow: distributing aid in Myanmar
Thanks to those of you who have already contributed to our Myanmar appeal. The money we have raised so far is helping our partners – CESVI and Welthungerhilfe – respond to the devastation caused by Cyclone Nargis.
Our contributions to CESVI are assisting their work with water and sanitation, the distribution of emergency food, shelter and non-food items and health. CESVI’s interventions are targeting 80,000 people in the Dedaye Township of the Ayeyarwady Division.
We are supporting Welthungerhilfe’s distribution of food to about 12,000 people in Bogale in the Ayeyarwady Division.
