Concern Worldwide has launched an emergency response in Afghanistan after avalanches in Badakhshan province killed at least 43 people. An entire village has been buried in 10 feet of snow.

It was a beautiful day for Concern Worldwide yesterday as the covers album of U2’s Achtung Baby went to number one in the iTunes charts in Ireland just 48 hours after its release. Proceeds from the album will benefit our work in east Africa.

Progress in Moyale
