Concern blog Tuesday, 29 May 2007
Welcome to the editor’s blog here on Concern.net. Its aim is to provide regular updates on the activities of Concern across the globe, providing an insight into the work we do, the people we work with and the impact we’re having.
The blog is also designed to encourage feedback and comments from you, the reader. So please feel free to include your comments below. There will be a slight delay between the time you post your comments, and the time they actually appear online as they have to go through a moderation process. This process is just to filter out any inappropriate or abusive comments.
Although I’m based here in our headquarters in Dublin, Ireland, this blog will be covering activities from all the countries we work in. And we work in a lot of countries. Click here for a full list, and details on each.
Some of the most recent content we have added to the site reflects this diversity: news from Haiti on the rainy season; podcasts from Nepal and reports from Malawi on the success of cash transfer programmes.
We have been testing the blog for a couple of weeks before going live with it today. During this test period, we posted several entries to the blog. You can read them in the short archive just above on the right.
