Working with the world's poorest people to transform their lives

International Women’s Day

International Women's Day, which falls on 8 March every year, connects women around the world and inspires them to achieve their full potential.

This day is an opportunity to celebrate the valuable work of women around the world. It highlights the progress women have made in their struggle for economic, social, cultural and political equality.

Gender equality

Concern is a charity committed to empowering women living in poverty to make major improvements in their lives. We recognise that gender equality and women’s empowerment are essential to advancing justice and ending global poverty.
