Job specification

Job purpose: 
The purpose of this internship is to support the Digital Marketing Manager in delivering key activities in 2013. Specific duties will include 
supporting the Digital Marketing Manager in:
  • Email campaign management, including updating the email schedule and arranging sign off for copy 
  • Managing mass email campaign sends using our bulk email sending software
  • Analysis of the mass email campaigns
  • Creating exciting engaging digital content briefs and supporting on the project management of the digital content agency

Analysis of paid search and digital recruitment  activity.

Main duties & responsibilities: 
  • Database/spreadsheet management
  • Report writing and qualitative and quantitative analysis
  • Administrative support to Digital Marketing Manager 
  • Ad hoc copywriting for email campaigns

Person specification

Person specification (essential): 
  • Good communication skills, both written and oral
  • Good organisational skills
  • Project management skills
  • MInimium of 6 months experience in use of digital marketing, including social media, email, paid search etc
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently 
  • Good computer literacy including familiarity with microsoft office
  • Educated to degree level 
  • Commitment to Concern’s mission
  • Experienced in use of digital marketing, including social media
Person specification (desirable): 
  • Degree in marketing or digital marketing
  • Experience of working in a digital team
  • Knowledge of international development issues
  • Digital copywriting experience
  • Experience of paid or voluntary working in a marketing or communications team
