Learn more about Concern

Concern Health Promoter, Princia Irebanda, teaches good hygiene practice to children in the village of Boyali in the Central African Republic.

We may all be born into different families, in different corners of the world but in reality, we are all the same. We are all just people trying to live our lives as best we can.

Sadly, some lives are worse affected by circumstances outside of their control such as conflict, natural disaster and extreme poverty.

It is our core belief that no-one should live in poverty, fear or oppression.

Who are we?

We work in some of the most remote and challenging environments to support the world’s poorest communities and help to build their resilience to poverty and disaster.

We listen, we learn and we work in partnership with communities to respond to emergencies and address the root causes of poverty.
