Concern's vision of the future of the European Union

Concern is a "special observer" member of the Forum on Europe, whose membership comprises all of the political parties, representatives from Dail and Senate, MEPs and a range of members of Irish civil society.

The purpose of the Forum is to promote public debate on the EU, its enlargement, its future and Ireland's place in it. It is a politically neutral public space within which political views and analyses of all shades can be put forward on the EU, and on Ireland in the EU.

Concern became a member of the Forum to promote its work on EU Development Policy – as members of Eurostep and Alliance2015. Seeking to make development an issue which is debated and supported in this arena, Concern submitted its vision for the Future of the European Union.
