Mary Robinson to speak in Belfast

Human rights campaigner Mary Robinson will be the main speaker at Concern Worldwide’s hunger lecture at the Metropolitan Arts Museum in Belfast today.

Mary, the first female president of Ireland and former United Nations high commissioner for human rights, will lead a distinguished line-up for the inaugural hunger lecture.

Tackling hunger 

The lecture will focus on the issue of global hunger. It will also explore the contribution the people of Northern Ireland can make to tackling malnutrition in some of the world’s poorest communities.
