10,000 signatures

Next week, I will be attending the UN Millennium Development Goal Summit in New York. Along with my usual packed bags, I’ll be bringing 10,000 signatures from Concern Worldwide supporters.

The majority of the people who go hungry today are women. Each of the 10,000 signatories is urging the United Nations to listen to women in their fight against hunger.

Sending a message

People across the world have signed this pledge to send a message to their leaders: listen to the voices of poor women farmers and make them central to the fight against hunger and malnutrition.

I will be presenting these signatures to David Nabarro, UN special representative on food security and nutrition.
