Liberia: marking a year of Ebola

This was an emergency of unprecedented proportions which no one was prepared for.

The deadliness of the disease, with a fatality rate of up to 90%, caused fear and loss across the region. More than 4,057 Liberians have lost their lives to the disease at the time of publication. The 23rd March 2015 marks one year since Ebola first came to Liberia

Hopes to declare Liberia ‘Ebola free’ were dashed over the weekend but that won't deter front line #EbolaFighters. Click below to hear their stories.
