Bangladesh programme plan 2012

27 February 2012

This is Concern Worldwide's 2012 programme plan for Bangladesh. The following is an excerpt from the document, which can be downloaded below.

In 2012, Concern in Bangladesh will continue to focus its work on enabling extremely poor people to take the lead in setting their own priorities, mobilising resources, claiming their rights and building their futures, as defined in the recently approved Country Strategic Plan (2011-15). This will be achieved through the rolling out of the strategic plan with a focus on extreme poor people in particular women in areas with a high level of existing extreme poverty where a sustainable impact on poverty can be made. Continued emphasis will be placed heavily on improving programme quality through result measuring and further improving technical quality. In addition, advocacy efforts will be further strengthened through engaging on the meso and macro levelS with the national parliament, ministries and highest level policy makers. Fostering of collaboration and linkages with the private sector, local and international civil society and government to increase available services, as well as the donors for generating resources while ensuring accountability and transparency in all programmes and actions will be carried out. Management systems and processes will be further strengthened to effectively deliver the strategic plan and the priorities.
