Over 1,100 people dead and estimated one million homeless as aid agency seeks urgent donations and releases €500,000 from its emergency fund to kick-start emergency response with immediate effect.

Concern Worldwide, Ireland’s largest humanitarian agency, which has been working in Pakistan since 2001, today launched an emergency €5m appeal to deal with the consequences of the largest floods that have hit Pakistan since 1929.
