The ‘Nutrition matters’ report outlines the commitments and progress made by the Zambian Government on childhood malnutrition and provides recommendations for 2016 and beyond.

Despite the Zambian Government’s commitment to tackling hunger and malnutrition, progress has been slow in recent years. While the government is working to implement coherent policies and improve coordination across ministries and the nutrition sectors, there is a desperate shortfall in funding. As a result, there are significant delays in implementing plans.
