Income from public donations amounted to €41.8 million, while the agency received over €93.8 million in grants from governments and institutional donors. Concern’s CEO Dominic MacSorley welcomed the report and paid tribute to the on-going support from the public. He said: “The money donated by the public last year is a testament to remarkable generosity of people, who, in spite of difficult economic circumstances, have shown extraordinary generosity. Without their confidence and trust our work would not be possible. We are firmly focused on providing lifesaving assistance to those caught up in conflict and disaster as well as building the resilience and capacity of the poorest and most neglected populations, helping these communities to get on a path to development.
