The independence of Republic of South Sudan (RSS) on 9th of July 2011 gave birth to the youngest nation state in the World ending more than four decades of civil conflict. However, RoSS has many challenges to overcome both strategic and practical.  In  the  post  conflict context, the  political and economic  stability remains the  major hurdles for South Sudan. The legacy of protracted war has created a massive capacity gap in the south, which limits the ability of the RoSS to respond to emergency as well as strategic needs and to deliver basic services.  Also, the ongoing  inter-tribal conflict  adds to the fragility of the young country.  Rehabilitation  and integration  of the returnees totalling 341,368 for whole of South Sudan and 66,128 for Northern Bahr el Ghazal.
