South Sudan famine appeal

South Sudan is in the grip of a food crisis that threatens the lives of millions – famine has been formally declared in two regions of the conflict-stricken country.

Hunger threatens millions of lives

According to UNICEF and World Food Programme, 100,000 people are facing starvation and a further one million people are on the brink of famine.

I wish to donate:

The combination of persistent conflict and economic instability in South Sudan has left millions of people without sufficient food supplies. It’s estimated that 4.9 million people are food insecure.

Help prevent the spread of famine

Concern is on the ground in South Sudan, responding to this emergency but your help is needed to reach all of those affected.

Just €30 is enough to provide life-saving nutrition support for a malnourished child for one month.

Please act now

A lack of action could result in thousands of innocent women, children and men dying because of hunger. We must not allow this to happen – we must act now.

Please give what you can.
