Crisis in the cities

The slums in Nairobi are also suffering. High food prices have pushed over four million people into deeper poverty and starvation. Learn more about the crisis here.

As well as this photo gallery of life in the slums, we’ve just uploaded a new video to YouTube (see below). The video shows how rising food prices are pushing already poor hungry people into a “silent crisis”.
