MEPs urged to support European vision

As the European Parliament elections approach, we’re calling on all Irish MEP candidates to support our “Vision of a Responsible Europe in the World”.

So what’s the vision?

We believe, along with other Eurostep members, that the EU should be a leader in international development. We want a Europe which listens to the poorest and most vulnerable people and acts in response to their needs. We want a Europe which honours and recognises our shared values and responsibilities within the global community.

It is a vision inspired by our partners in the developing world, shared with Dóchas members in Ireland and with other NGOs across the EU.

That is what Concern is urging MEP candidates to support.

You too can support this vision. Just click here to endorse a stronger European Union, committed to the eradication of global poverty.
