MyAsiaSpace featured in prominent UK magazine
Third Sector, the UK’s leading publication for the voluntary and not-for-profit sector, has featured the Concern Worldwide project, MyAsiaSpace, on page 23 of their latest issue (19 September 2007).
The competition site www.myasiaspace.net was credited as providing “insights into life in contemporary Bangladesh…[and]…broadening visitors’ understanding of life in developing countries.” The MyAsiaSpace competition reaches its natural conclusion at the end of this month when four judges will choose eight finalists from the fantastic entries the site has received.
The eight winners will receive an Olympus Mju camera and a training session with photographer Kalpesh Lathigra. They will then take some final photographs and those shots will make up the MyAsiaSpace exhibition which will be launched early next year. One final overall winner will be selected to receive a stunning Olympus E-410 Digital SLR camera.
