Your donation and charity tax back

Your donation can make a huge difference, more than once. By simply signing your tax relief form (pdf file - 109 KB), you could help Concern claim millions of euro back from the Revenue Commissioners.

Have you donated to Concern in the past four years? With just a quick flick of your pen another donation, courtesy of the taxman, could be heading to Concern at no extra cost to you.

Helping families stay healthy

help concern without spending a cent There are two criteria: if you are a PAYE taxpayer and have donated €250 or more in any of the previous four years, then Concern can claim tax back from the Revenue Commissioners.

Give more without spending a cent

Every year, we send out tax forms to be signed by Concern supporters who meet these two criteria. Each completed form is worth at least €63 if you are a standard rate tax payer, and it could be worth much more.

If you haven’t received your tax back form in the post then you can download it here:

Pelagie Mukashyaka with her 7-month old son Claude, pictured at the Cya Nyatanga Health Centre. Claude is part of Concern’s Outpatient Theraputic Care in Nyaraguru, Rwanda, which looks after malnourished children.Like many families in Rwanda, Pelagie and her five children live on less than one euro a day. They only have one small meal each evening. Recently, Pelagie was so weak with hunger that she couldn’t breastfeed her youngest child, Claude. Claude became dangerously underweight and had to go to their nearest health centre for urgent treatment. Thanks to swift action and proper care, Claude’s life was saved.

Helping families stay healthy

With your help, we plan to train and equip over 6,000 community health workers in Rwanda. This would enable us to save the lives of many more children like Claude.

These health workers will reach communities that are a long way from the usual health facilities. The health workers will be able to screen children for problems like malnutrition and tackle diseases such as diarrhoea, pneumonia and malaria.
