Many of the countries in which we work are highly vulnerable to emergencies and shocks as a result of conflict and the climate crisis.

At Concern, our goal is to respond as quickly and as effectively as possible to save lives and to reduce suffering wherever we can.

When it comes to emergency situations, we know there is no time to lose as we look to support people through the most difficult moments in their lives, and we could not do it without your help.

Your donation will help us to provide, for instance, essential shelter and non-food items in an emergency situation.

In 2022, our emergency programmes helped to reach more than 16.4 million people.

We responded to 76 emergencies in 23 countries, reaching 8.3 million people directly and 8.1 million people indirectly.

Our aim is not only to provide short term support to victims of emergencies, but also to contribute to lasting improvements in the lives of vulnerable people through the implementation of rapid responding, disaster risk reduction and community resilient programmes.
